Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU, Full Time
About The Position
Temecula Valley Hospital (TVH), part of Southwest Healthcare, provides advanced technology, innovative programs, and patient-centered, family-sensitive care. The hospital has 140 private patient rooms and offers emergency care, advanced cardiac and stroke care, orthopedics, and general and surgical specialties. TVH has received numerous recognitions for patient safety and clinical care, including Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades and U.S. News & World Report recognition for several cardiac and neurological conditions. The position is in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Employees may be required to float to other Southwest Healthcare facilities, including Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital, based on operational needs; appropriate orientation and competency validation will be provided.
Requirements
- One year of operating room experience in an acute care facility and/or surgery center.
- For new-to-specialty OR RNs: one year of acute hospital RN experience.
- For new-to-specialty OR RNs: successful completion of an AORN Periop 101 program, or enrollment in and successful completion of a TVH-approved AORN PeriOp 101 program within six months of starting in the position.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Employees may be required to float to another Southwest Healthcare facility based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation.
Nice To Haves
