About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for Home Care to join their Skilled Nursing team in Mercer County. This role offers a weekend opportunity, focusing on providing high-quality care to clients in their homes. BAYADA emphasizes compassion, excellence, and reliability, caring for clients of all ages and diagnoses, including those requiring advanced care like tracheostomy and ventilator management. They offer extensive paid training, including simulation labs, and prioritize matching nurses with cases near their homes. The position involves traditional shifts and hands-on care with a single client per day, allowing for relationship building and observing client progress.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- CPR certified.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
- Deliver care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
- Manage advanced care needs, such as tracheostomy and ventilator management, if required.
- Build client relationships and observe their milestones.
- Perform preventive care.
