About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Inpatient Behavioral Health department at the Main Campus in La Crosse, WI. This is a casual/on-call position requiring a minimum of 48 hours and at least one weekend shift per 6-week schedule period. Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of RN experience, ideally in mental health

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.
• Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
