About The Position

Provides direct care to patients on an assigned unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and manages the care of assigned patients. Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Shift Leader responsibilities when requested or in preparation for advancement to Level II or Level III. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patients or with pediatric and adolescent patients, depending on the assigned unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Georgia or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
• Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
• Level II: one or more years of experience in the area of specialty.
• Level II: participation in a PI study and presentation of an in-service program.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification.
• ACLS certification.
