About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The position involves a fast-paced, hands-on environment, long-term patient relationships, and applying a broad range of nursing skills with medically complex patients.

The role is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Nurses may float to nearby clinics as needed, and training may take place at a clinic other than the assigned home location. The posting notes no Sunday work and no nights, while also describing flexible shifts that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable transportation for potential floating.
• Flexible schedule required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
• CNN/CDN certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
• Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in health.
• Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
• Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
• Float to nearby clinics as needed.
