About The Position

Asbury Methodist Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN, Evening Shift position, working every other weekend. This role provides individualized care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents. The RN is responsible for obtaining and transcribing orders, notifying physicians and responsible parties of resident status changes, and providing leadership to CNAs and LPNs. This position ensures adherence to all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations, and involves completing new admission paperwork, including nursing assessments, and administering medications and treatments.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.
