About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring patients and treatment plans, responding to health changes, and educating patients and families about kidney health and treatment options. The nurse collaborates with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians, and may float to nearby clinics. A flexible schedule is required, with training potentially occurring at a clinic other than the nurse’s home location.

The position is based at 836 Dundee Ave, Suite A, Elgin, Illinois. The schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The work is described as fast-paced and hands-on, with opportunities to build long-term patient relationships and apply a broad range of nursing skills to medically complex patients.

Requirements

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Reliable transportation for potential floating.
• Flexible schedule required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
• CNN or CDN certification.
