About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Registered Nurses for the evening shift (3pm-11pm). This role involves completing comprehensive medical assessments for clients upon admission, performing all nursing shift duties such as screening, taking vitals, scheduling appointments and labs, and updating charts. The position also includes addressing pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations, dispensing medications, and maintaining medication logs. Collaboration with medical, clinical, and UR teams is essential for seamless care coordination. A key responsibility is ensuring impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client.

Requirements

High School diploma/ GED
Minimum one-year diploma program post-high school
Current, valid licensure to practice nursing in-state, or compact license with multistate privileges
Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills

Nice To Haves

1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
