About The Position
SierraVista is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care in a psychiatric and substance use disorder facility. The nurse works with an interdisciplinary team to support patients through recovery and help them build skills for lasting recovery and independence. The listed schedule is full-time nights, three 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend rotation. The job is located at 4770 Larimer Pkwy, Johnstown, CO 80534, and pays $41–$49 per hour.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must be 21 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- ADN considered with relevant experience.
- Prior psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience is a plus; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a psychiatric and behavioral health setting.
- Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses.
- Respond to crises using de-escalation and intervention techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
- Offer education and reassurance to patients to help them stay on track toward long-term wellness.
