About The Position
Centurion Health is partnering with the state of Indiana to provide medical and behavioral health services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) will provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi state compact license
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
