About The Position
Berks Urologic Surgery Center (BUSC) is seeking Registered Nurses to join their surgical team. As an Ambulatory Surgery Nurse, you will provide essential pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative support to patients. Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license
- BLS required
- ACLS may be required based on assigned clinical responsibilities

- Urology experience

Responsibilities
- Providing safe, compassionate nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
- Preparing and assessing patients prior to surgical procedures
- Supporting physicians and the surgical team during procedures
- Monitoring and caring for patients during post-anesthesia recovery
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Educating patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Recognizing changes in patient condition and responding appropriately
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Following established standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
- Working collaboratively across the Surgery Center to ensure patient care is safe, efficient, and on schedule
