About The Position

University Nursing Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. Nurses build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories and provide care that supports a rewarding experience for residents and team members. The position is offered in evening and night schedules, including part-time evening shifts and full-time night shifts. A $12,000 sign-on bonus is mentioned for full-time night-shift RNs. Requirements

Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to excellence in senior care.
Demonstrate compassion, accountability, relationship-building, and excellence.

Responsibilities

Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
