The Registered Nurse will be responsible for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. This role is on the Adult Psychotic Disorders unit, focusing on depression, anxiety, suicidality, self-injurious behavior, trauma, and personality disorders. Patients commonly present with comorbid substance use disorder, OCD, and eating disorders. Patient interactions and interventions are therapeutic, highly interpersonal, and skills-based.
