About The Position

The Registered Nurse ensures the quality and safe delivery of home health and hospice care services to patients of all ages. The role coordinates home health and hospice services in accordance with the agency’s philosophy and standards of home health, hospice, and nursing care for assigned clients, including those in assisted living and CBRFs. The nurse provides care documentation consistent with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. This position is with Aspirus at Home in the Wisconsin Rapids / Stevens Point area. It is full-time (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour day shifts and work every third weekend. The position pays hourly rather than by visit and includes mileage reimbursement. A sign-on bonus is available for RNs only.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in nursing required.
Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
Maintain specialty certification as required by the department’s scope of service.
Current BLS certification, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Automobile liability insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.
Current ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required depending on the primary department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Certification in a specialty desired.
Ideally, at least three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.

Responsibilities
