About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in an Outpatient Cardiology Clinic. The role involves providing direct patient care, performing cardiac assessments, administering medications, educating patients on cardiac conditions and lifestyle changes, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. The nurse will also be responsible for triaging patient calls and documenting all care in the EMR.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required
• Knowledge of cardiac medications and diagnostics
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred
• Previous cardiology or outpatient experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in outpatient cardiology setting
• Obtain cardiac-focused assessments and vital signs
• Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac testing
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Provide patient education on cardiac conditions and lifestyle changes
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up care
• Triage patient calls and address clinical concerns
• Document care and communications in the EMR
