About The Position

The Clare, a luxury residential community in Chicago's Gold Coast area, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for its Skilled Nursing Care Unit. This community is the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area. The role requires a compassionate and skilled RN with a love for providing outstanding care and customer service, making a difference in the lives of residents.

Requirements

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
• CPR certified.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.
