About The Position

The Flex Nurse assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy. Duties include administering medications and treatments, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Flex Nurses are assigned throughout Branson Hospital, with varying schedules and unit assignments. The role requires broad medical care knowledge to serve a diverse group of patients.

This is a full-time day-shift position in the Nursing Float Pool at CoxHealth Center Branson, scheduled for 36 hours per week, with hours of 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of critical care or emergency room experience, or two years of medical/surgical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership abilities.
• Valuable time-management skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Obtain BLS and ACLS within 90 days.
• Obtain PALS within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
