About The Position

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. As an RN in our Spine & Pain Management clinic, you'll play a key role in caring for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team, you'll help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a smooth and efficient clinic experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active RN license in the state of practice
BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

1+ year of nursing experience preferred (outpatient, orthopedics, procedural, or pain management experience a plus)

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while involving patients and families in treatment decisions
Perform focused assessments, triage symptoms, and support ongoing evaluation of spine and pain-related conditions
Assist with clinic operations, including patient preparation, admissions, discharges, and post-procedure care
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to support treatment plans, including injections and interventional procedures
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and follow appropriate escalation pathways
Provide clear patient education on medications, procedures, recovery expectations, and pain management strategies
Accurately document care, interventions, and education in the electronic medical record
Support efficient clinic flow by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing patient and clinic needs
