Registered Nurse – Neurological Unit (General RN)

About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse for its client in Bethesda, Maryland. The role is on a neurological unit and involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. The schedule is full-time nights, consisting of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday work as needed. The assignment is 13 weeks, with a possible extension.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross.
- At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Strong, demonstrated experience in neurology and seizure management.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Monitor for and respond to seizure activity and neurological changes.
- Perform neuro checks and document findings accurately.
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists on patient care plans.
- Provide support and education to patients and families.
