About The Position

The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse - Pool DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. This role delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen‘s) with an Associate‘s degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
  • RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
  • Required to work minimum shift including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
  • As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card).
  • 18 months experience required.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 18 Months

Nice To Haves

  • RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen‘s) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN.
