Registered Nurse (RN)(Full-time) 6:45am-7:15pm
About The Position
Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is seeking a motivated, dependable, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional direct care and support to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. This role involves actively engaging in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. The nurse will continuously assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients, utilize the nursing process aligned with the hospital's philosophy and values, and uphold a safe therapeutic environment. Collaboration as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team is key, contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
- Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
