About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Big Island Visits team. The RN will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary health care team, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients in their homes. The role emphasizes compassion, excellence, and reliability in delivering high-quality home health care.
Requirements
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state of Hawaii
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units (medical or skilled nursing settings).
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 skilled nursing, intervention, and supportive care in accordance with individual care plan, including administration of medication, wound care and treatments
- Perform client assessments, provide education to the patient and/or their family, and monitor patients' condition.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet
