About The Position
As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date, or Certified Instructor.
- Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Specialization in a relevant clinical area (e.g., medical-surgical, critical care).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
- Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
- Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.
