This position involves providing direct patient care within a Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and providing a minimum of five direct service hours per day. The role also includes overseeing facility operations when requested, communicating effectively with peers and supervisors, and assisting with medical evaluations and screenings. Key duties involve administering medications and treatments, providing medication education, monitoring client physical health, participating in treatment team planning, and offering consultation and education services to staff, clients, and families. The nurse will also respond to emergencies, perform medical services as directed by a physician, and maintain high ethical standards in all interactions. Preparation of reports, documentation, and maintenance of client records are also essential functions of this role.
