Registered Nurse- Operating Room- PRN Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028 Work hours: PRN, Days Department highlights: Provides perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, including circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety standards Collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient case flow, accurate instrumentation, and optimal patient outcomes Supports a high-acuity, fast-paced OR environment, utilizing advanced surgical technology and adhering to best practices in infection prevention and perioperative care

Requirements

Nursing Diploma (Nursing) – Required
Associate’s Degree in Nursing – Required
One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of a Registered Nurse (RN) residency program – Required
Registered Nurse (RN) – Required upon hire
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – Required prior to providing independent patient care; must be maintained quarterly
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
