About The Position

The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is looking to hire two Registered Nurses, part-time status, to provide care and support to our residents residing in our religious community. This role offers a competitive starting pay range of $34.00 to $41.00/hr, plus an additional shift incentive bonus of $1.25/hour for working 2nd shift. The Congregation of Holy Cross is a community of Catholic, apostolic priests and brothers called by Jesus Christ and founded by Blessed Basil Moreau. Holy Cross priests and brothers are called upon to be educators in the faith, who with a preferential option for the poor, educate both the mind and heart principally in the fields of education, parish and mission. This includes Holy Cross House, our non-licensed operation that provides assisted living and skilled care to the members of Congregation of Holy Cross.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a certified nursing program.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to remain focused while performing multiple tasks and providing leadership.
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented and organized.

  • Providing care for the residents of the Holy Cross House.
  • Offering interaction in a loving and caring manner.
  • Providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and/or spiritual care.
  • Providing nursing care to residents with compassion.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.

  • Offering leadership to the nursing team.
