About The Position

Atrium Health Cabarrus is hosting an RN Hiring Event on Wednesday, May 20th, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, seeking Registered Nurses for various inpatient med-surg units. Opportunities are available in Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, Cardiac, Oncology, Nephrology, Post Surgical Care, Age Friendly, Family Medicine, Observation, Neurosciences, and more. Full-time and part-time positions are open for both Day and Night shifts. The event will feature on-site interviews with the possibility of same-day offers. Attendees can enjoy refreshments and meet with Nurse Recruiters and Nurse Leaders to learn about RN job opportunities. Walk-ins are welcome, and bringing a friend is encouraged.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
  • Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing/virtual modalities are required to be licensed or hold the privilege to practice in the state(s) where the client(s) is/are located.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

  • Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care on various inpatient med-surg units.
  • Perform duties as expected of a Registered Nurse, potentially including activities beyond the general scope of this job description.
  • Practice in compliance with state laws, rules, regulations, and standards of practice.
