About The Position

Rome Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in its Medical Imaging Department to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families. The nurse assesses, directs, and coordinates patient care and procedures in the Radiology environment, providing care efficiently, empathetically, and in a timely manner appropriate to the ages of the patients served. The role also serves as a patient advocate and health teacher, carries out physician-prescribed medical regimens in accordance with departmental protocols, and performs nursing functions using the Nursing Process, Rome Health and Medical Imaging protocols, applicable regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• One year of work experience in an acute care hospital is desirable.
• Experience in Radiology nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
