About The Position

Central States Pain Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Interventional Pain Management practice. This full-time role involves supporting patients through advanced, minimally invasive procedures in a collaborative, patient-focused setting. The position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with an early finish on Fridays, providing hands-on procedural and PACU nursing experience. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Active RN license in good standing required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Familiarity with sterile/scrub procedures and surgical or procedural nursing practices
  • Working knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and current nursing standards
  • Ability to operate a C-Arm fluoroscope under physician direction
  • Compassionate, high-quality patient care
  • Strong critical-thinking and clinical assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Organized and effective at managing multiple priorities
  • Team-oriented mindset within a multidisciplinary setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • CPAN certification preferred
  • 1+ year of OR and/or PACU nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete patient assessments, health histories, and vital sign monitoring before, during, and after treatment
  • Recognize and report significant clinical changes or abnormal findings
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with providers
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
  • Deliver care in line with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to support treatment goals
  • Guide support staff and help maintain efficient clinical workflows
  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
  • Assist providers during procedures and monitor patients throughout recovery
  • Evaluate and communicate potential procedural risks
  • Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
  • Operate a C-Arm fluoroscope under physician supervision when trained and assigned
