Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health One Health Urgent Care Denver FT
About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Atrium Health One Health Urgent Care in Denver, NC. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, involving three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The role is in a fast-paced environment requiring strong triage and assessment skills. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilizing evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills, the RN will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 3 Years of RN experience with Urgent Care, ED, ICU, preferred

Responsibilities
- Triage and assess acuity.
- Obtain vitals.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations.
- Perform Point of Care testing and lab specimen collection.
- Assist with procedures such as splinting, wound care, and blood draws.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
