About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Texas Health Flower Mound is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of basic human needs, human respect, and the ability to engage with patients and their families. The department is a modern facility with high-tech equipment and a supportive team environment, priding itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. The position is PRN (as needed) for day shifts, with a minimum requirement of one shift per six-week period.

Requirements

1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days

Nice To Haves

Nursing Diploma
Associate's Degree Nursing
Bachelor's Degree Nursing
1 year of ER experience
