Registered Nurse - Medical Group Surgical Services
About The Position
Registered Nurse - Medical Group Surgical Services at Glenbrook Hospital. This is a Full Time position requiring 40 hours per week, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The role involves floating to all 4 breast centers as needed, including Highland Park Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Swedish Hospital, and Evanston Hospital. The nurse will provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians, handling tasks such as phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care, and patient education/teaching. Responsibilities also include reviewing and responding to NorthShore Connect messages from patients and charting in Epic, the electronic medical record system.
Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Graduate of State-approved school of nursing; ASN minimum
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
