About The Position

St. Mary’s Physician Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiology Clinic at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri. The role is full-time, with day shifts consisting of 8-hour shifts. The nurse provides and coordinates patient care, responds to changes in patients’ conditions, communicates clinical updates, and helps maintain care standards and efficient patient flow. Requirements

Current state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional nursing experience in a Cardiology setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate with physicians, the Manager or Director, and co-workers about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptoms.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and direct and guide other personnel while maintaining departmental standards of care.
Work with other departments and co-workers to provide quality care across the continuum and support efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization.
Adhere to regulations, standards, and facility or unit policies and procedures.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
Act as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
