This position involves 75% desk work and 25% face-to-face assessments, offering less time on your feet and more time coordinating quality care. The schedule is primarily Monday-Friday with only one rotating on-call weekend each month. A $1,250 Hiring Bonus is offered after 90 days. This role makes a meaningful impact supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in the community.

Requirements

RN certification as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico required.
Must maintain CPR, First Aid, and other trainings/certifications as required.
Must pass TB test and background check.
Must have own reliable transportation, valid NM driver’s license, insurable driving record and proof of current liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

One year experience working with disabled individuals, including those with severe/profound disabilities, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate health care services for individuals on the DD Waiver per DDSD Standards.
Train staff on health care protocols and practices.
Write and update individualized health care plans.
Conduct nursing visits and attend doctor appointments.
Participate in IDT and ISP meetings for client care coordination.
Maintain medication administration and treatment records.
Oversee LPNs and support the nursing team as an RN.
