RN ED Seasonal PRN Nights
About The Position
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This role is in the Emergency Department and is a Seasonal position with a 13-week contract. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care and documentation for patients presenting to the ED with a variety of complaints. Responsibilities include triage, care in main sections with higher acuity, and care in Express Care/fast track for lower acuity patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training. The department is currently seeking Level three Trauma designation, is a Primary Stroke Center, and a Primary Chest Pain Center. It boasts a wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within the ED, self-scheduling with voluntary on-call, and ongoing Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects. Certified Emergency Nurse fees are paid.
Requirements
- 2 years of RN experience in Emergency nursing
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN – Registered Nurse license/certification
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- ENPC and TNCC
