About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the PACU oversees care for patients waking up from anesthesia. The role includes monitoring patients’ vital signs and consciousness, watching for side effects from anesthesia, reviewing medical histories, and performing post-operative care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness as they wake from anesthesia.
- Look for side effects from anesthesia.
- Review each patient’s medical history and note important information.
- Perform post-operative tasks, such as changing bandages and administering medications.
