About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care’s Delaware Pediatric North Office is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its pediatric skilled nursing team. The role provides private duty nursing to pediatric clients, from infants through young adults, in their homes. Nurses care for one client per shift and can build relationships with clients and observe their milestones. Shifts are typically 8, 10, or 12 hours, with flexible scheduling based on nurse availability and client needs.

BAYADA provides paid onboarding, orientation, and training. This includes meeting the team, discussing scheduling, working with a clinical educator in the simulation lab, documentation training, fit testing, and an initial home visit alongside another BAYADA nurse. The position offers the autonomy to perform nursing skills in the home while following physicians’ orders and monitoring client conditions.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home according to an agreed schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on private duty nursing care to a single client during a shift.
