About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Residential Care Role Daniels, West Virginia We provide medical oversight and support within a residential child care setting: Medication processes are monitored and reviewed regularly Staff are trained and supported in medical procedures Safety and compliance are maintained through structured systems Care is coordinated across multidisciplinary teams You will be overseeing and supporting systems that ensure safe and effective care for children and adolescents. Requirements

  • Active West Virginia RN License (unrestricted)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in residential or healthcare setting preferred (5+ years)

Responsibilities

  • Medication Oversight
  • Conduct monthly reviews of medication logs in client files
  • Review Physician’s Orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Monitor medication cabinet procedures
  • Ensure medications are properly packed, labeled, and disposed
  • Leadership Responsibilities
  • Supervise AMAP personnel, LPNs, and assigned staff
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to residential teams
  • Train staff on medication administration and medical protocols
  • Support staff development and accountability
  • Clinical Collaboration
  • Participate in multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams
  • Work with physicians, psychiatrists, counselors, and case managers
  • Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care
  • Document medical information in electronic systems
  • Regulatory & Safety Oversight
  • Interpret and apply regulations and standards
  • Provide OSHA and medication monitoring training
  • Monitor first aid supplies and health/safety practices
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Respond to staff injuries and coordinate care
  • Participate in the wellness committee
  • Assist with transportation to medical appointments as needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
