Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing ADN - Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Registered Nurse: CA
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- 2 years or greater recent periop experience as circulating and/or scrubbing RN or Clinical nursing in Tele, CCU or ED.
- Experience as RN in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures and Urology highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation
- Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.
- Identifies changes in patient's condition and intervenes appropriately.
- Provides patient care for a given patient assignment, either as a primary caregiver or by delegating and supervising as a team leader.
- Works collaboratively with physician. Reviews orders. Reports abnormal lab values and significant changes in patient findings.
- Works collaboratively with patients and family to establish a plan of care, which would include an assessment of psychosocial needs.
