About The Position

Overture Home Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role focuses on providing RN-delegated in-home care to older adults and individuals needing assistance in the DFW metroplex. The RN will be crucial in ensuring clients receive safe, compassionate, and clinically appropriate care, while also mentoring caregivers. Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics, home health, hospice, or senior care.
  • Strong assessment, sales, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client assessments and caregiver training needs.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive in-home nursing assessments for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain a strong customer service and sales mindset during every assessment, working to convert qualified prospects into active home care clients through education, relationship building, and exceptional service.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
  • Delegate nursing tasks and provide hands-on training to caregivers in accordance with state regulations.
  • Perform nursing procedures including medication management, clinical assessments, and other services within the RN scope of practice.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate changes in condition to physicians, families, and the care team.
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation, assessments, and required reports.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for caregivers, providing education, coaching, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with office staff to ensure continuity of care and exceptional client service.
  • Help promote a safe, compliant, and high-quality care environment for every client.
