About The Position

Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their progressive care unit team. They are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, are passionate about helping others expand their skill sets, and are patient-centered. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. The nurse will coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes, while demonstrating proficiency and adhering to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. They are looking for collaborative, resourceful, and positive nurses who love empowering and teaching others.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities
