Registered Nurse
About The Position
The Registered Nurse oversees all nursing duties and related nursing activities for clients and supervises nursing department staff assigned to the shift. The position is based at the Industry Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center, a 24/7 walk-in outpatient urgent care facility providing rapid mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and medication support. The program offers short-term stabilization for up to 24 hours and serves up to 12 adults ages 18 and older and 6 adolescents ages 13–17. The scheduled hours are Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Starting compensation is $40.00–$45.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Ability to successfully pass the facility Medication Test.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of experience in a mental health care setting working with seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
