Nexus Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands provides specialized inpatient care for patients with complex medical, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental needs. Through our Jump Start Program, we serve children, adolescents, and young adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and childhood obesity, combining structured nutrition, physical activity, and behavioral support to promote improved health and greater independence. We also provide neurodevelopmental care for patients ages 16 and older, including individuals with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual and developmental disabilities who require a structured inpatient environment and coordinated medical and behavioral support. At Nexus, we bridge medical and behavioral healthcare to help patients build skills, improve stability, and achieve their fullest potential. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care across our specialized programs, supporting patients with complex medical, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric needs. Working under the supervision of Nursing Leadership, the RN delivers safe, compassionate, evidence-based care while supporting medical stability, behavioral regulation, and individualized treatment goals. This role collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team and provides guidance to direct care staff to maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment.
