About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Telemetry Neuro/Stroke Unit, 2 East. This position offers opportunities for career advancement into leadership or to advance the level of care in a variety of settings. Primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, communicating with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of patients. The unit emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to ensure the best patient care.
Requirements
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ADN required
Nice To Haves
- BSN or higher preferred
- Opportunity to become a NIHSS (Stroke Certified Nurse)
