About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every clinical action aligns with the highest safety and quality standards for patients. The nurse will advocate for patients by monitoring and communicating real-time health changes, ensuring the care team stays agile and responsive to their evolving needs. Additionally, the nurse will orchestrate multidisciplinary care as the primary coordinator, bridging the gap between different specialties to create a seamless, holistic healing experience. Empowering patients and their families by managing the discharge planning process, ensuring they have the resources and clarity needed for a safe and confident transition home, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
