About The Position
Centurion Health is partnering with the state of Indiana to provide medical and behavioral health services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. We are seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join our team at the Pendleton Correctional Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients. They will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Requirement to work a minimum of 2 shifts a month
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
