About The Position

Saint Luke’s Community Hospitals, a division of Saint Luke's South Hospital, in Kansas are seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. As an ED RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to perform ongoing assessments and provide direct patient care to a variety of acuity levels and conditions. Our community hospitals provide employees different experiences than our metro locations, including more autonomy with the ER providers, training in our lab for drawing and processing lab work on site, working alongside specially trained paramedics, more involvement in daily operational activities due to being in a smaller facility, and more time spent with patients.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ED RN Experience.
• 1 year Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, performing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room and Inpatient/Telemetry Unit.
• Serves as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
