About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Community Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, providing a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. The position is offered full-time on nights and part-time on evenings and nights.

Requirements

Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Demonstrate supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care.
Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
Support a respectful and positive work environment.
Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
