Shadelands Post Acute in Walnut Creek is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. Requirements
- Current and active California RN license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to resident care
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care including medication administration, treatments, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
- Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care focused on comfort, dignity, and safety
- Observe, assess, and document changes in resident condition
- Communicate concerns promptly to the RN Supervisor and healthcare providers
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Support resident recovery goals and quality-of-life initiatives
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations and standards
