About The Position

The Registered Nurse assists the physician in the care and teaching of patients. The role is based at the Inverness Office and requires a registered nurse licensed in the state of residence, with IV therapy experience. The nurse must be able to assess patient needs and condition, respond calmly and effectively in emergencies, communicate fluently in English, and hold current CPR certification. BLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days; FCS will provide a BLS course during that period. A valid driver license is required for travel to clinics. Hematology/oncology experience in a clinic or hospital is preferred. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background screening. New hires are also subject to drug testing and must receive various vaccinations, including influenza, unless an exemption is approved. FCS is a drug-free workplace and does not recognize medical marijuana cards.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
Experience in IV therapy.
Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR certification.
BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment; FCS provides a BLS course within the first 30 days.
Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
Successful background screening and drug testing; new hires must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an exemption is approved.
